How about your children? How can you earn their trust and make sure they are not lying or hiding something about their friends or any school events. Give them full attention and encourage them to talk. Have a lively conversation. Let them speak out their woes and concerns. Soothe and comfort them and suggest solutions for their problems. They will love you more instantly and there you have formed a well-deserving trust bond again.

Do you trust one or two of your favorite friends? Form friendship in your community or at work. You are likely to enjoy their company through sharing you life’s stories- both good and bad. If majority of them do bad on a quiz, try to compensate for it in some way either by giving assignments or taking another extra quiz. 6 Great Ideas For Student Loan Management

Due to the higher costs of education in today’s challenging times, it is important for us to consider the effect of efficient student loan management. Each student must, however consider their loan management plan that can easily fit into their lifestyle and will fit within their budget.

It is important to have a sound plan that will also be simple to operate and easy to understand (should someone else design your management plan for you).

Below are six ideas that will help you consider your option for your management plan.

Create

Create accurate records of your loan details. Make sure to file your documents carefully and also make detailed notes of what agreements you have made: interest rates, schedules and so on. Make sure that you create an easy to use spreadsheet of all your details and put in a separate folder on your computer. Making sure that you keep detailed records of all transactions so it will be easy for you to review at any time when needed.

Plan

Make sure to plan all of your expenditures and allow for any contingencies that may happen. Make sure that you include money that you may require for day to day living.

Teach

Teach yourself how you can cut your expenses to the bare minimum. It may be an advantage to share costs with other students or friends. Do your own washing, try and avoid eating out and try and make your own nutritious meals at home. Live frugally, cut down on entertainment expenses by going back to basics, go for walks in the park, try natural entertainment option.

Work

Get additional income to help you get through. Look at other ideas to raise more money such as a building a passive income through a web based business or take a look at crowdsourcing, where you can get the crowd to finance your studies. Also save a percentage of your part time income to help when things get tough.

Study

You are going to have to study, right? So just try and increase your studying efforts by another ten percent and ramp up your efforts, this may actually have the benefit of helping you to win prizes and perhaps even get a scholarship.

Cash

Money talks and BS walk as they say in the classics. Another idea is to ask family members to consider giving you cash gifts instead of traditional presents. It may seem small, but it could just be enough to help you get through a difficult month.

Make sure that you consider the following:

• Make sure your monthly payments are paid in a timely manner.

• Minimize costs by paying higher monthly installments than you need to.

• Loan consolidation should be considered only as a last thing.

•Make sure to keep all of your personal details up to date with your financial institutions.

• Regularly check all of your statements so you can see there are no errors.

• If, for some reason you may be late with a payment, inform your financial institution immediately.

It can be a relatively easy thing to control student loan management in an effective and efficient manner, just make sure that you use the loan for the reason that it was intended

Income Inequality Fixes Offer False Logic – Socialism Is The Problem, Not the Solution

Many have noted that the top one percenters keep getting richer while the bottom 20% haven’t made any headway at all, or so very little it’s hard to calculate to prove. Okay, maybe that is correct, but the poor have not backtracked on their standard of living or quality of life. Today, nearly everyone has a cell phone, computer of some type, TV, refrigerator, etc. And we don’t have very many people starving to death in America with our food stamp program and easy access to anyone.

Now then, when we give poor people money for whatever need; rent, money for health care, food, etc. they cannot save it, they need it, so, the poor spend it right away. Where do they spend it – at a store, or to pay their phone bill, etc. and, in the immediate transaction who gets the money? Well, a business, owned by someone wealthy, or a corporation which has investment class owners of their stock – thus, in that first transaction the wealthy folks now have the money and they put it to work investing in other money making endeavors or to grow their net worth in some sort of investment vehicle – therefore, increasing their wealth – making them richer.

On MSNBC there was an interesting article titled; Obama: Income gap threatens our ‘way of life’ by Michael O’Brien which stated amongst other things; “A growing deficit of opportunity is more of a threat to our future than our rapidly shrinking fiscal deficit,” he said,” and a person born in the top 20% had a one in three chance of staying there, whereas someone born in the bottom 20% had a one in 20% chance of improving their situation and economic status in life.”

Yes, maybe so, but every single thing this administration has done to attempt to fix this false problem of “income inequality” has made it tougher on the middle and lower class. Why? Simple, socialism doesn’t work. Obama cites Argentina in his speech, but Argentina is a perfect example of what not to do. President Obama really needs to think beyond his boxed in reasoning and brainwashed socialist education. That’s the truth, and if you or anyone else can’t see it, you are stuck in the same box. But I would suggest that you look up Milton Friedman on YouTube and watch all those videos.

Re-distributing wealth or money to the poor will only put it right back in the hands of the wealthy in the next transaction, and only exacerbate the problem of the poor staying poor and the rich often getting richer. Think on this.

Don’t Be A Victim to Circumstances

This world isn’t always easy on us. Too frequently we’re unwillingly a victim of some smooth talking slickster, or some crazy circumstances that we just don’t have any control over. “Life isn’t fair” we tend to tell ourselves when faced with these injustices.

“True. Very true,” I say. You’re right. Life isn’t fair, and life has never been fair. Just think about it… What happens when a fly flies innocently by a frog? Yup! It gets eaten. Life certainly wasn’t fair for that poor fly, was it? What did that innocent fly do to that frog? Nothing! It was unfair to that fly, right? I bet right now, we’re all glad that we’re not flies.

Well, we certainly aren’t flies. And we usually don’t have to worry much about being eaten alive by another creature. It’s true that life for us humans is unfair sometimes, but it’s rarely ever that unfair. We’re almost never victimized to the degree that that poor fly was because we’re humans and we have a lot of advantages over the rest of the animal kingdom.

It’s not often that our circumstances force us to face life and death situations like the rest of the animal kingdom does on a daily basis. And when our circumstances do tend to be on the bad side, we almost always have choices that we can make to better our situation. The fly flying by the frog doesn’t have the ability like us humans to make life-improving decisions once that frog snaps its tongue out of its mouth. Can you imagine what us humans would do if a little frog snapped its tongue out of its mouth towards us? We’d probably say, “Ah… look how cute he is!” We’d probably even mimic the cute little frog by saying, “Ribbit. Ribbit”.

Now teens, go learn, lead, and lay the way to a better world for all of us. Remember that we truly are the lucky ones because we don’t have to be victimized by our circumstances. And once again, thanks for all that you do, and all that you will do…

The Gift of Parenting Success

To be in your children’s memories tomorrow, You have to be in their lives today.”

Story: Doctor Joyce Brothers came from a family in which dinner time conversation involved preparing she and her siblings for the realities of everyday life. Her father used to play a game called “what if.” What if a classmate cheated on a test? Would you tell the teacher? What if your friend gets involved with drugs? Would you tell her parents? What if you are approached for drugs? How would you handle this? How would you use the gift of parenting success? Which questions can you pose to your children that will be life changing and life forming for them?

He would also ask them far-reaching questions. What do you want to study in high school? What kind of job do you want? How can you discipline yourself to save your allowance? What qualities would you look for in a friend or in a spouse? His questions prepared them for life, for solid relationships, and for ethical grounding.

Moral of the Story: Her father’s questions prepared the family for both daily and future concerns. He didn’t wait for dates to appear at the door to bring up questions about marriage. Graduation didn’t happen without adequate academic preparation for high school or college. And career choices were probably considered at the dinner table years before jobs applications went out. He fertilized the ground before the seeds were planted, before his children entered into each life phase, and before they reached adulthood.

Action Plan: Set aside time with your children for intimate conversations. Let them know when daily events will occur and give them choices. For example, instead of laying down the law about bedtime, give them a choice of times to go to bed. Prepare them for important decisions long before they become a reality. Apply parenting success to your relationship with your children. Become a parent to your children. Give them food for thought. Guide them with love, safety, and concern. Prepare them for life.

Practical Application to Your Life: The same principles can apply to your life. Prepare yourself for each major life event. Create strong bonds with your children and you will know that you have done a good job bringing them up.

Weekly Take Away Children are educated by what the grown-up is and not by his talk.” -Carl Jung

The Gift of Financial Success

Give yourself the gift of financial success.

Suze Orman;

If you wait to see how much money you have left at the end of the month to put toward savings, the answer may be zero. So, set up an automated monthly transfer from your checking to savings account. Once you lock into that commitment, you’ll be forced to scale back spending to make ends meet.

Story: Warren Buffet: Warren Buffet showed an entrepreneurial spirit at an early age.

First Entrepreneurial Venture
By the age of 13, Buffett was running his own businesses as a paper boy and selling his own horseracing tip sheet. His entrepreneurial spirit was alive at a young age. He had given himself the gift of business success.

In 1942, Buffett’s father was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, and his family moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia, to be closer to the congressman’s new post. Buffett attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington, D.C., where he continued plotting new ways to make money. He continued making money in creative ways. He and a friend purchased a used pinball machine for twenty-five dollars. After a few months they bought additional machines. Buffett owned machines in three different locations before he sold the business for twelve hundred dollars.

Higher Education and Early Career

Buffett enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania at the age of sixteen to study business. He stayed two years, moved to the University of Nebraska to finish up his degree, and emerged from college at age twenty with nearly ten thousand dollars from his childhood businesses.

Moral of the Story: Building financial success involves possessing the gifts of creativity, entrepreneurship, and insights into the workings of money and finance.

Action Plan: Put away ten percent of your income at the beginning of each month. If you wait until the end, you will not be inclined to keep your spending within reach. Ask yourself three questions:

What am I willing to give up so I can save money?
Into which account can I put that money?
How can I emulate Warren Buffet and become a money magnet?
Practical Application to Your Life

Do you value yourself enough to save money? What is your view of finances? Do you acknowledge your self-worth when it comes to finances?

Weekly Take Away: The Bible has over two thousand verses on money. Money is not the root of all evil. The love of money is the root of all evil.

Fighting Penis Odor at College

For many young men, going away to college opens up new worlds. Often, this is the first time a man has really been “on his own” – even if he’s sharing a dorm room with another guy or two. There are new challenges that may arise. Interestingly, one of those challenges is dealing with penis odor. Taking time for proper penis care becomes more and more important as a man matures, and college can be a learning experience in this area.

Not just a college problem

Clearly, penis odor is not a situation created solely by dorm living at college. A guy can develop a strong and unfortunate aroma from his member at almost any age and under many conditions. Indeed, women complain about a rank penis in partners who are far from their halcyon campus days. But for many, the college years can be an especially “ripe” time for this problem.

Why should this be? Well, there are several factors at play here.

Guys get busy

Although many men are sexually active with partners before college, and many others do not become active until after college, a lot of young men see their “luck” with sexual partners increase during the years they are getting their education. Intercourse is great fun, of course, but even when one is with a very clean partner, the result of partner sex tends to be a penis with an odor attached to it.

This can also be the case when there is no partner involved in sexual activity – and masturbation tends to be a favorite activity of men at college. The friction and sweat create an aroma, and semen left to dry on the area – whether by choice or accident – adds a unique scent to the penis.

Hygiene suffers

None of the above would really be a problem if guys washed appropriately. But many guys don’t always wash off after sex, and many guys also don’t shower or bathe as frequently as they need to when away from Mom and Dad. There can be many reasons for this: laziness, a way of expressing independence, lack of time due to studying, etc. But whatever the reason, the lack of appropriate washing makes the penis odor situation worse.

Living quarters aren’t the same

It’s also true that many young men get a bit sloppy and careless with their personal environment at college. In particular, laundry is not often at the top of the list. It’s not at all uncommon for guys in a dorm situation to wear the same pants and/or underwear for several days, simply because there are no clean options around. And it’s also true that bedsheets may remain unwashed for a truly amazing length of time. When a man sleeps in unwashed sheets, the odors they have gathered get passed on to his body – including his penis.

What to do

In order to keep truly frightening penis odor at bay – and keep women from crossing a guy off their list because his manhood truly smells like junk – guys really must make an effort to shower regularly and to change their sheets more frequently. But that is not enough.

If a guy at college (or elsewhere) wants to take the right steps to address rank penis odor and the off-putting situations it creates, he simply must use a first class penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). Not just any crème will do; it is essential that it contain vitamin A. Why? This vitamin (also known as retinol) is celebrated for its antibacterial properties. It fights many odor-causing bacteria that occur on the penis and surrounding areas. The crème should also contain a potent antioxidant, such as alpha lipoic acid. Antioxidants fight free radicals and the oxidative stress they promote. Limiting that damage keeps the penis healthier and better able to fight other odor-causing bacteria.

Job, Career, Passion – Pick Two!

“What do I want to be when I grow up”; an expression that rings true with today’s workforce, whether just starting out in the business world or someone with many years of experience. The business communities, the economic landscape, are calling for employees who are better educated, experienced and have excellent interpersonal skills.

The educational, cultural transition is alive a well and a real concern for employers. Generational shift from the Boomers to the Millennials, and the Z’s coming up quick are changing the motivational concepts. What was once important about security, loyalty, and power has shifted to life- balance, fair and equitable, trust, and the environment.

Motivational content concepts from what many of us have studied in school, Maslow Hierarchy of Needs Theory, Aldermen’s ERG Theory, Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory or Process Theories such as Expectancy, Goal, and Equity Theories are in need of a more in-depth review. Thinking innovatively about what is important to our workforce and applying the strategies to motivate and improve self-worth.

Having the opportunity to instruct and train hundreds of people in private business, and formal education there is a disparity on what individuals want to accomplish. With that said, and with an unscientific bias view, the trend for job seekers, is first to follow his or her passion, and then secure a job. A career comes last due to the rapid changes in our business segments.

The importance of a career has taken a step back, and personal rewards have taken center stage. The, “What’s in it for ME” has taken a revised meaning. Education also needs to take a revised approach. Teaching process, critical thinking, managing a diverse workforce and problem solving are required elements for success. Narratives, case studies, role plays, and the understanding of finances outcomes are required learning.

With the lack of longevity within an organization, transferable skills are a requirement. That is why people whether starting out or with a year of experience need to constantly think of the next opportunity, and what skills are in his or her proverbial toolkit, and what skills need to be added. Setting a career path is like writing a business plan which needs to contain and executive summary, mission and value statement, marketing strategy, product description, SWOT analysis, and financial summary. To many this is difficult but when complete it could become your a ha moment.

I would like to think that a people-centric approach will prevail in our current business environment. However, the challenge of retaining quality staff now faces new challenges, and that is to satisfy the passion in people.

5 Keys To Better, More Successful EVENTS

Regardless of the type, scope, reason, for a specific event, the success (or failure), is nearly always dependent upon the actions, planning, and abilities of the planning group, and/ or individual, and the quality of leadership and professionalism, they exhibit/ display! Organizations hold these for a variety of purposes and reasons, including: fundraising; organizational planning/ governance; educational; motivation; social; etc. Let’s review what one must do, in order to enhance the possibilities, and create/ produce, the most meaningful, effective, successful event, possible. In order to be considered to be so, one must consider the purpose, marketing, perceptions, empathetic considerations, negotiations, etc. Therefore, this article will examine, from a mnemonic perspective, 5 essential keys, to better, more effective, successful EVENTS.

1. Energy; enjoyable: When an attendee immediately observes a positive, motivating, energetic feeling, he is far more willing to remain open – minded, and happy to be participating! After all, why would anyone want to go somewhere, if it wasn’t enjoyable, and, hopefully, meaningful and productive?

2. Value; values; vision: There is often quite a bit of competition for a potential attendee’s attention and participation. Why should someone opt to attend yours, rather than another? Leaders must know what they are trying to achieve, from the onset, so they properly, effectively negotiate, in order to bring quality and value, and the perception of more bang, for the buck! However, in this quest, one must never abandon the values or reasons, for holding this event. True leaders must possess a vital, vibrant vision, in order to make every aspect, the most desirable.

3. Empathy; entice; entertain: Like in every other leadership aspect, real leaders must possess empathy, in considering planning and producing their events. What do constituents seek, need, and prioritize? How will you entice them to attend, because an event can only be successful, if you get your target audience to attend? Use the proper proportion of entertaining them, motivating, and educating, and do so effectively, efficiently and professionally.

4. Needs; nuances: How will you assure your event addresses the needs, concerns and priorities of potential attendees? How is your group different and unique, and what nuances will you employ, in order to motivate them?

5. Trends; timely: Many groups fall into the trap, of refusing to evolve, and merely try to clone previous versions of these functions/ events. Know the trends and tendencies, taking advantage of them. Articulate and motivate, in a timely, well – considered manner!

6. Strengthen; solutions: Every event should seek to strengthen the group, in some way. What obstacles and/ or challenges will you address, and will you show viable solutions, which satisfy needs and concerns?

These are just a few of the considerations which professional negotiators and planners, consider and think about, when producing an event. Wouldn’t you want better, more successful, EVENTS?
